Direct answer Yes. Every RMA Fleet storage trailer is a semi trailer: a 28, 45, 48 or 53 foot dry van, delivered to your Cincinnati site and parked at your dock or on your lot. We rent them for storage on site. We do not rent trailers for hauling freight over the road.
Plenty of Cincinnati businesses search for semi trailer rental or dry van rental when what they actually need is space. That is the thing we rent. The trailer that shows up is a standard enclosed dry van, the same box you see on I-71 and I-75 every day, set down at dock height so a forklift or pallet jack can work straight into it.
Where it differs from an over-the-road rental is what happens after delivery. Ours stays put. It is parked where you ask, loaded where it sits, and collected when you call. If you need a trailer to hook to your own tractor and run freight to another city, that is a different product priced around a lane, and an over-the-road leasing company is the right call. Most of the semi trailers we place around Cincinnati end up at plants and distribution centers that have run out of floor space, at retail back docks ahead of the holidays, and on Hamilton County job sites where materials need a locked, weathertight home. The 53 footer is the one most requested for warehouse overflow: 26 standard pallets single stacked on the floor. The 28 footer fits tight lots and holds 12 to 14.
